J. Clapp nailed me on my values! Though my print outs always come out terrible compared to what I see on computer monitors. :( Do you know anything about that?
Regarding color and printing, that is such a hairy topic that causes headaches still in the print fields. :) One way to handle it is to print out an image, preferably one with range of color and values, and to then use the gamma adjust tool that photoshop has to make the screen look like what is on the paper.
That way, before you go to print something, you can use that gamma setting and then adjust levels and such to where it looks good before printing. Also, be sure to switch to CMYK mode too when proofing.
Ahhh.. though I would need to do this with my own printer, I'm thinking. I've been using the one at the print shop - it's expensive and it prints everything out overly contrasted and over-saturated.
So I gotta figure out what's wrong with my printer then.. the color quality is crap. I almost think it was a bad idea to buy one of those recycled color cartridges. :P Anyway, I'm done rambling! heh

Excellent atmosphere, and I'm not talking about the perspective. I like the overall feel this has. A perfect summer dusk in a city.

John always nails people on their values. :)

The indistinct background makes it look to me like they're contemplating life in general. I really like this one.

Wine drinking club.
The dog wine drinking club? Great sundown picture. Is this drawn from personal experience?
